We helped our clients to add a single story master suite addition to their historic Pittsburgh home. Our clients have owned and occupied this house for over 50 years, and their goal for the project was to create space so they could age comfortably in their home. Our work involved:

  • Adding a closet washer/dryer on the first floor, just outside the master suite
  • Building a spacious first floor master bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet
  • Tying into the existing brick, roofing and mechanical systems
  • Installing a huge window to maximize the incredible view of Lawrenceville
  • French doors separate the master suite from the original house
  • Bathroom includes a barrier free shower with floor to ceiling tile work
  • This project involved consolidating multiple lots
