We were really fortunate to be a part of this finished basement project from start to finish. We worked with our homeowners to transform an unfinished basement room into the coziest space imaginable. In doing so, we had the chance to work with some really cool materials. For instance; we distressed and finished hardwood hickory for all the trim. The lighting was really cool, too. Everything is LED, and all of the strip lights are color changing and Bluetooth controlled. There's a fireplace, and a bar, and acoustic insulation everywhere.  ...

Trotter

We were very fortunate to collaborate with our friends at Jacob Evans Kitchen & Bath for this kitchen remodel in Peters Township. Our Homeowners love their home and have lived there since the previous kitchen was installed (almost 20 years ago!). They felt like it was time for an update. Our work included demolition, installing new flooring, new electric, new lighting, new walls and ceilings, cabinets, counters and back-splash....

Carriage

This was a big project in a unique mid-century home in Pittsburgh!  The renovation was inspired by our clients' desire to update the look and expand the space while retaining and improving the skylight window.  In the master bathroom, we were able to steal space from an oversize hallway closet to build a new shower and fit a double vanity. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, we removed a wall that partitioned off the space, rearranged the whole room and cut a new feature window into the wall above the sink (that didn't used to be there).  This project included updating electrical, new drywall, tile, a heated tile floor, quartz counters and all new fixtures. We also had the pleasure of working with Jacob Evans Kitchen & Bath on this project; they...

Bathroom remodeling

Plainfield

This project was complicated. Our goal was to completely remodel two bathrooms, while slightly changing the floor plan in each room to allow for more useful closet space in two adjacent rooms. There was a lot of structural and mechanical work in an old home, and the family chose to live in their home through construction. We were very fortunate to collaborate with our friends at Jacob Evans Kitchen & Bath for this project. They provided all materials and did an amazing job with the initial design....

Bathroom remodel

St. James

This was a unique project for a unique home!  The renovation was inspired by the clients' desire to update the look and expand the space while retaining and improving the skylight window.  We were able to steal space from an oversize hallway closet to build a new shower and removed a radiator.  This project included updating all mechanicals, new drywall, tile, a heated tile floor and heated towel bar, and all new fixtures.  The feature here is the stained glass that the clients had fabricated into the original window by a local artisan.  We reinstalled the window with LED lights above to highlight the vibrant colors and patterns....

This full home remodel in Shadyside took a brick Victorian with tons of potential and transformed it into our clients' dream home.  We gutted the first floor down to the studs, remove walls to create and open floor plan, and started fresh with all new mechanicals, insulation, hvac, drywall, and flooring.  We finished it off with a gourmet kitchen, powder room, and updated second floor....

Avon

This client wanted to expand their master bedroom into a suite buy turning an extra bedroom into a bathroom and dressing room.  We also turned a coat closet into a powder room on the first floor.  This client was thrilled with the results of their project because we were able to help them use the space they already had to better suit the needs of their family....

Living Room Remodel-addition-transom windows-vaulted ceiling

Thorn

This was a big project on an old home in Sewickley! We helped our homeowners to expand their home to better accommodate their growing family. Specifically, we re-built an existing great room, turned a side porch into a mud room, and added a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The house was over 100 years old to begin with, needless to say that working on old homes come with specific challenges. Justin, Rob and our Homeowners worked together to design a project around a specific budget, choose materials and fixtures, and figure out some quirky tie-in details. This project took about four months from commencement to completion, wrapping up before the Homeowner's target completion date, and accomplished the Homeowner's intended purpose for building the project....
