Pittsburgh Remodeling Company  was originally brought in to remodel the master bath and closet in this Mt. Lebanon home, but our scope work work grew considerably upon discovering significant concealed structural damage. Our work grew from interior only renovation to rebuilding an existing--but failing--home addition. Our work included the following: Installing a really nice Ditra Heat system throughout the bathroom and closet. Installing a Schluter Kerdi shower system. Installing all new cabinetry, counters and closet system. All new tile on the floor and walls, and quartz pieces for the curb, bench and counter top. We obtained all necessary permits and inspections for the project. ...

We helped our clients to add a single story master suite addition to their historic Pittsburgh home. Our clients have owned and occupied this house for over 50 years, and their goal for the project was to create space so they could age comfortably in their home. Our work involved: Adding a closet washer/dryer on the first floor, just outside the master suite Building a spacious first floor master bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet Tying into the existing brick, roofing and mechanical systems Installing a huge window to maximize the incredible view of Lawrenceville French doors separate the master suite from the original house Bathroom includes a barrier free shower with floor to ceiling tile work This project involved consolidating multiple lots ...

We recently had the pleasure of updating this master bathroom. In order to achieve a more open feel, we removed a water closet and upgraded the shower from a 36"x36" fiberglass one-piece unit to the barrier free awesome-shower you see here.  We also replaced the door to the bathroom with a wider french door. Photographer's note: I shot these photos on a cloudy day in incandescent light. The white balance was really tricky to nail down! A lot of people have asked, "which is the most accurate representation of the tile color." To which I reply, "Edward-5.jpg is probably the truest color."...

Many of the rooms of this century-old Highland Park home had been immaculately preserved, except for the master bathroom.  After a full tear-out and extensive mechanical updates, we installed a large steam shower and separate water closet.  A traditional spindle-legged ceramic console sink, marble shower tile and hexagon floor tile complete the look.  A medicine cabinet was built on site using repurposed wood from the home....
