This client wanted to expand their master bedroom into a suite buy turning an extra bedroom into a bathroom and dressing room. We also turned a coat closet into a powder room on the first floor. This client was thrilled with the results of their project because we were able to help them use the space they already had to better suit the needs of their family....
This is a major kitchen remodel we did in a very unique house on the South Side Slopes. This has been described by our employees as "one of the creepiest after-demolition spaces ever!" Our work included:
Complete demolition of the existing kitchen
Replacing a large garden window
We ran new plumbing and electric throughout the kitchen
We added a significant amount of insulation to the space
We found, exposed and cleaned up an existing (massive) steel beam!
All new flooring, appliances, cabinets, counters, fixtures, and moldings to match the home
The counters are stainless steel with integrated sink, and
The backsplash is large format porcelain tile.
We were fortunate to partner with Jacob Evans Kitchen & Bath for this project; they supplied many of the materials and collaborated on the overall design....
Pittsburgh Remodeling Company helped our Homeowners to conceptualize, reconfigure and renovate their Mt. Lebanon home to provide a larger, more functional master bathroom and closet. Our work specifically included:
Borrowing closet space from a guest bedroom to accommodate a larger shower
Installing new tile, vanity and fixtures throughout the master bathroom
Design a new walk in master closet
Designing and installing wardrobe cabinetry in the master bedroom (pictures coming soon!)
Installing a new, larger window in the master bathroom
Insulating the attic
We helped our clients to add a single story master suite addition to their historic Pittsburgh home. Our clients have owned and occupied this house for over 50 years, and their goal for the project was to create space so they could age comfortably in their home. Our work involved:
Adding a closet washer/dryer on the first floor, just outside the master suite
Building a spacious first floor master bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet
Tying into the existing brick, roofing and mechanical systems
Installing a huge window to maximize the incredible view of Lawrenceville
French doors separate the master suite from the original house
Bathroom includes a barrier free shower with floor to ceiling tile work
This project involved consolidating multiple lots
